Let Claude and ChatGPT work with your email, on your terms
mailbridge connects your own mailboxes (Gmail, iCloud, Fastmail, Yahoo, Zoho or your own domain's mail server) to AI apps such as Claude, ChatGPT and Claude Code. You choose which mailboxes each app may use, and whether it may send, and to whom.
Early access
mailbridge is invite-only while a small group tries it out. If you have an invite, sign in with the address it was sent to. If not, ask whoever told you about mailbridge to invite you.
How it works
- Add a mailbox. Sign in with a link we email you, then add a mailbox with its address and password (an app password for Gmail, iCloud, Yahoo, Fastmail and Zoho). mailbridge finds the server settings for most providers.
- Connect an app. Add mailbridge to Claude, ChatGPT or Claude Code with the address below. The app sends you to mailbridge to approve it.
- Set the rules. Pick the mailboxes it may read and organize. Sending stays off unless you turn it on, and then only goes to the recipients you list.
What it does, and what it doesn't
- Your AI app can search and read mail, move, flag and file it, and save drafts for you to review.
- Sending is off by default. When you allow it, it only goes to recipients you name, within hourly and daily limits.
- Your mail stays with your provider: mailbridge fetches messages when your app asks and never stores the text of your messages. A short activity log (what an app did, kept for 90 days) is described in the privacy policy.
- Mailbox passwords are stored encrypted, with a key of their own for every mailbridge account. Disconnect an app or delete your account at any time.
